1.5″ Tri Clamp Butterfly Valve

Description

This sanitary butterfly valve features a pull-trigger lock and is capable of being locked in 3 different positions. To unlock and rotate the valve, simply pull the handle outward. Unlike Tri Clover Compatible ball valves, butterfly valves do not have any pockets for contaminants to hide, making them easier to clean and maintain. Additionally, butterfly valves are also more lightweight and compact in comparison. While butterfly valves are better suited for on-off functions, we recommend using Tri Clover Compatible ball valves for controlling flow rates, particularly at vessel outlets, fermenters, and pump outlets, and for vessel returns such as mash tun sparge and vorlauf returns. Made from 304 stainless steel and we also offer SUS 316 by special order.
